Faith-Based Initiatives of the TN Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services will host TN Day of Hope in room 133 of the McWherter Center on JSCC’s main campus. The event will be held from 6-9 p.m. on March 10. This is an opportunity to be trained in suicide prevention, trauma-informed care (ACEs), and overdose prevention. The ACE (adverse childhood experiences) portion of the conference is very informative and helps in understanding the way young adults react to various situations. This is a free event, but registration is required. To register, click on the “Learn More” link.
