Carl Perkins Civic Center

This event features community organizations, advocates, state and federal partners working together to realize our collective vision that every child, adult, and family in Jackson, Tennessee will be safe and economically secure.  The Jackson Madison County Branch of the NAACP, Jackson Chamber, Jackson Madison County African American Chamber, Workforce Essentials, American Job Center Tennessee, Taylor Medical Center and other community partners work to promote enhanced safety and well-being for Jacksonians by focusing on three primary goals:

  • Strengthening career readiness and success;
  • Increasing self-sufficiency; and,
  • Developing the workforce and economic capacity of our community.

Our goal is to provide the job search skills, information on proper business attire and build confidence for some very deserving job seekers to help prepare them for job interviews and beyond.  Having appropriate attire or the skills needed to complete a job application or prepare a resume can be a barrier to their successfully entering the job market.

Employers are welcome, space is still available for those wanting to participate, please call, 425-5058, or 927-7004.  We look forward to partnering with you.
