Celebrate the first weekend of Summer with Chickasaw State Park & taking a relaxing float down the Hatchie!

Cost is $20 per canoe to participate in the guided float. Minimum of 2 persons per canoe. Personal boats are also allowed to float for a cost of $10 per boat. Park Staff will assist with transportation from take out to put in. The float will begin at 10 am and last approximately 6 hours, dependent on the water level. Reservations may also be made by calling the park office at least 24 hours before scheduled float trip. All reservations are refundable.

~Occupant Requirements~
*2 adults (15 and up)
*Youth must weigh at least 30 lbs and be 6 years of age.
*Children 10-14 must be accompanied by an adult in the boat.
*Under 10 must have two adults in boat.
*All occupants 12 and under are required to wear life jackets at all times while in canoes. *Youth 13-17 unaccompanied by an adult are required to wear life jackets while in canoes.
*All participants must sign a liability waiver. Parents or guardians must sign liability waiver
form for children.

From Chickasaw State Park, travel west on Hwy 100 about 8 miles until you meet the intersection with Hwy 18. Turn left onto Hwy 18 south and travel 6.8 miles to the large parking lot at first Hatchie River bridge.
